Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC) has introduced Nokia C5-03 in Qatar. It is a touchscreen smartphone that’s simple to use but covers all of the essentials for modern-day phones. The device has a 3.2 inch touch display with a customizable home screen, Bluetooth, 3.5G, full screen QWERTY, alphanumeric keypad, handwrite recognition as well as a 5 mega pixel camera for video recording and image quality.
Anil Mahajan, COO, CGC, announced the unleashing of the new device across the country. He stated. “With its many hi-tech features and powerful camera, Nokia C5-03 is all set to leave a lasting impact on its users making their life and work more relaxing and result-driven. The new mobile phone is available in CGC showrooms at an introductory price of QR 870.”
Nokia C5-03 features Wi-Fi for fast internet access without the need or expense of a data plan. It also has a compass and assisted GPS for use with the latest version of the free Ovi Maps hands-free navigation service, now featuring public transport support and location sharing through social networks. Like many recent Nokia devices, its user can put their most important contacts directly onto the homescreen so they can call, message or chat them up in just two taps.
Nokia C5-03 is equipped with 40MB of internal memory and up to 16 GB of external support. The most interesting feature of the mobile phone is its 1000mAh battery. The battery can provide up to 25 days of standby, 11.5 hours of long talk time for GSM and up to 4.5 hours for 3G. The user can enjoy non-stop 35 hours of music playback with the new Nokia C5-03.
Nokia C5-03 allows for easy email set-up - either an existing webmail or POP3 provider through Nokia messaging. For business users, there’s the option of Mail for Exchange. If that isn’t enough, user will also find a quick setup wizard for Ovi Mail for those either new to email or who want a different account for their mobile messaging. Moreover, there’s access to Ovi Music and the Ovi Store so its user can fill their device with fresh content on a daily basis.
